Peaks of Otter Engagement Session | Lynchburg Wedding Photographer
I think I have lived in Lynchburg for about 13 years now and I’m embarrassed to say this is the first time I’ve actually driven part of the Blue Ridge Parkway on the Peaks of Otter. Loooooooook at this view!
We started the session at the Peaks of Otter Lodge. I love the scenery there, but not much had started budding yet. We spent some time on my favorite little wooden bridge and walked by the lake. Then, without really knowing where the “good locations” were on the parkway, we started driving. Of course I can’t remember what the name of the overlook was where we stopped first, but it not only had a stunning mountain view…it had the most gorgeous little “jungle” area off to the side. You have no idea how happy I was to see green leaves everywhere! 🙂
We ended our session at the Thunder Ridge Overlook. Oh my goodness! It was unbelievable! You have to scroll all the way through this session to see this view!
These leaves were such a pleasant surprise!!!
