Hannah and Jake decided on a few spots along the Blue Ridge Parkway for their engagements photos. It was early April, the trees were budding in Lynchburg, showing us winter was gone and spring greens were here. It was such a beautiful drive up to Wintergreen until I started heading up that mountain. Everything the was dead. Brown everywhere. Y’all…I was like, what in the world am I going to do? I had no idea it took a lot longer for trees to bud up there. But luckily, we didn’t need any trees at the places we were going. The overlook at Wintergreen is gorgeous….the mountains are blue no matter what. And the rocky ground at Raven’s Roost gives beauty in its own way. We ended our session driving down the mountains to Bold Rock Cidery, where the green was! 🙂
