Ahhh… A wedding in December in Virginia. How does one plan when it could either snow or be 65 degrees outside? Luckily, Hollie and Cody planned a beautiful, neutral color scheme for either direction and as luck would have it, it was a 65 degree day. Well, technically it rained all morning, and we weren’t sure if it was going to stop before the ceremony, but it did and you would have never known! Back again at Cedar Oaks Farm, and I really enjoy weddings at this venue!

I always love the “getting ready” time. I think it’s when everyone realizes that all of the things they have planned are actually happening and it is really fun to watch it all unfold.
It’s also fun meeting the wedding party and seeing how they interact with the bride and groom. I always say this and I’m certain it’s true…I always get the nicest couples and wedding parties.
It is really hard to just select a few photos from each part of the day. There were so many more photos that I wanted to include from this ceremony.
Golden hour/sunset photos will never get old for me. There’s just something about those colors. I think you can see from these reception photos that a great time was had by all. Also, I’m not sure if you can be as cool as Hollie and Cody and bring a car hood for everyone to sign. Or have the last name “Bolt” so you can incorporate lightning bolts into your decor (so awesome). Enjoy!
They ended the night leaving in this super amazing car. They truly thought of every last detail! Another great Cedar Oaks Farm wedding in the books!
