Did you see the cake stand? Horseshoes! If you remember Mackenzie and Ryan’s engagement session, you remember Mackenzie’s beautiful horse, Cinder. Remember it’s your wedding and you can do whatever you want to incorporate details to make it personal…even in a cake stand.
Mackenzie getting her dress on turned out to be a more memorable part of the day than usual. When her mom zipped her up and Mackenzie saw her beautiful self in the mirror, she was completely overcome with emotion and the tears fell. It was so incredibly sweet to watch!
Ryan did NOT cry when he saw himself in the mirror, but he kept us entertained!
Because of a last minute cancellation, Mackenzie had to rush to find a new makeup artist and luckily Chantay was available to help out even though she had other weddings in the morning. She finished right on time before the ceremony to we took the bridal party after the ceremony. The sky became more dramatic and the sunset colors really started showing up at the this point. Watch the progression…
Which, of course, gave me absolute gorgeous color by the time we started their bride and groom portraits…
Ahhhh, loved this couple and this wedding!
