I have loved getting to know Jamie and Sean over the past year. They are such a sweet couple and absolutely perfect for each other. Jamie said often, “he calms me” and you can actually see that in their photos. Throughout the whole planning process, Jamie was determined to do a “first look” but Sean was not on board. Jamie was finally able to convince him and I know I’m not the only one who could see the nervousness disappear right after that first look. Although, I have to say this may have been a first for me where the bride was the one with the better reaction! Ha! I asked later why Jamie seemed so surprised and she said since Sean wasn’t allowed to see her dress, he said she couldn’t know what he was wearing either! She had no idea what Sean had picked out or what the groomsmen were wearing! I loved that! And I guess Sean can have that since their wedding day is also his birthday! 🙂
One thing I also want to point out are the bouquets! I’ve seen paper flowers before, but I haven’t seen flowers made of wood. Yes, wood! And how in the world would you ever know! They looked real, smelled real, and almost felt real! Jamie ordered her bouquets through Soaring Sapphire on Etsy. Check them out! It’s seriously amazing! What a great alternative to real wedding flowers. They make a great keepsake!
And of course, this beautiful day would not have been possible without these amazing vendors!
