I have so much to say about this insanely beautiful Sierra Vista wedding…so I’m going to try hard to keep this short and sweet. So, this was my first wedding at Sierra Vista. I’ve second shot a wedding there before and have done a few sessions for different things, but I was SO excited to get out there with Katie and Andrew for their wedding. They are so fun and easy-going…and obviously superstars in front of the camera…that I knew we would end up with amazing photos when paired with Sierra Vista’s endless mountain views. Let’s start with the bridal suite. It’s a neutral dream. In photographer terms, that means everything!!! Just look at this gorgeousness! Scroll on, friends…

The groom’s cabin is a HUGE space for them to hang out in until it’s time to get ready! With vaulted ceilings and mountain views right outside the window, they’ve got it made!
We did several first looks! One with Katie and her dad, one with Katie and her bridesmaids, one with Katie and Andrew, and one of Katie and Andrew seeing the reception space for the first time completely decorated. They are all so sweet! I LOVED these reactions.
We had a storm move through between Katie’s bridal portraits and these bridesmaids pictures…can’t even tell! We just went to the barn to take pictures of the decor in the meantime. No big deal, y’all! We adapt.
Ceremony time!
I love the time after the ceremony…everyone is much more relaxed and we always have so much fun with the wedding party. The storm really cooled down the temperature and we were all so thankful for that, too!
I love a simple theme for wedding decor…white with greenery all around with touches of gold. So pretty! Also, please take note of Katie and Andrew JUMPING into the barn for their reception entrance while Enter Sandman was blasting. All the guests were gathered around jumping, too. It was so fun to see!
Sunsets and mountains will forever be my favorite place to photograph people…
A little reception fun…
I love this idea of doing a last dance as a couple while everyone else is lining up for the sparkler exit. I cried. They were spinning and twirling and having so much fun…just the two of them. It was a beautiful thing to see.
A sparkler exit to end a perfect day. Thank you so much, Katie and Andrew for trusting me with your big day! You both are amazing people and I wish you so much happiness!
