Christina and Abner’s wedding at Glass Hill will go down as one of my all-time favorites. I LOVE a DIY….and I love a DIY bride when they are as cool as Christina. We hit it off at our initial meeting as we discovered we both love houseplants and she was planning to incorporate them into the wedding decor. She also told me she really wanted bright colors with a bohemian style theme. I’m in!
Cue the super awesome vendor list:

Let’s start with Christina’s beautiful details. Her dress was gorgeous with that sheer lace detail…it was fitted, but still had some flow. I loved the touches of pink on her shoes and jewelry.
Abner is a super nice guy. I felt so sad for him, because of Covid restrictions, most of his family couldn’t travel to the wedding. They made sure to video and FaceTime throughout the day so his family could be there.
I love these photos of Christina getting ready with her mom and sister…
And look at this super beautiful bridal party! How gorgeous are these shades of pink?
We had time to do extra bridal portraits and Christina made this so easy…
The always gorgeous ceremony site at Glass Hill Venue…
Obehi the DJ warming everyone up before the wedding…haha.
He’s the best!
We had the perfect weather all day…even in August!
I’ve got to tell you a funny story now…The big thing they wanted for full wedding party pictures was popping the champagne bottle. I told Abner to wait for my count as I was switching my lens and something accidentally made the champagne pop. I looked up and saw it happen and grabbed my other camera as fast as lightning…still got every bit of the fun. And my second got it from a different angle.
Now take a look at these beautiful reception decorations…how awesome are these houseplants mixed in with this Bohemian style?
They love to dance…which truly makes a wedding so much fun! I had to include the entrance sequence. 🙂
LOVED that they had pizza and coffee for their reception…food trucks from the awesome Sourdough Pizza and Nomad Coffee. YUM!!!
Reception fun courtesy of Obehi the DJ…
Because of the end time of the reception, we did sparklers with daylight and headed out with Christina and Abner for sunset photos as the guests departed. This was a fun change and we had the best light!
